Sculpted Stone

This is simply an incredible multiple trilobite plate. It is a plate of EIGHT Unidentified Trilobites from the Ordovician of Morocco. This specimen was meticulously prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. The trilobites are wonderfully articulated and exhibit excellent detail. The fossils are also extremely inflated and 3-D. The dark red-brown color of the trilobites contrasts superbly with the light-colored matrix. The bugs are beautifully showcased on the sculpted plate of limestone. And best of all, this slab is not composited - all of the trilobites are natural to the plate! This is an extremely large ''death assemblage'' plate of unusual trilobites from Morocco - a museum-quality example of trilobite mass mortality.
