Here is an extremely impressive fossil crinoid. This HUGE specimen is Actinocrinites gibsoni from the classic crinoid beds of Crawfordsville, Indiana. This sea lily is extremely large - the largest example of this type we have ever seen! The crinoid is quite inflated and displays incredible detail - the thick arms and distinct plate structure are both easily seen. A portion of the stem is even preserved! But what makes this plate extra special are the OTHER crinoids on the plate. There are many smaller crinoids of many different types ALSO preserved on the same plate as the monster - what a multiple plate! This is a massive fossil crinoid with many different excellent crinoids preserved on one plate - one of the coolest crinoid display plates we have ever seen.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
