Here is a very collectble US trilobite. This is a large Huntonia huntonensis from the Bois d'Arc Formation of Oklahoma. This beautiful bug is wonderfully outstretched and exhibits very fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached, which is quite unusual. The inflated, protruding eyes are easily seen, and even the individual lenses of the compound eyes are clearly defined - this is extremely uncommon. The long, wide genal spines are practically perfect and beautifully displayed. The trilobite has excellent natural color and contrast and is wonderfully showcased on the HUGE block of marlstone that contains an enrolled Paciphacops, EIGHT different brachiopods, trilobite parts, gastropods, and corals. This is a spectacular NATURAL Devonian sea floor bottom plate that just happens to have a complete, TOP QUALITY Huntonia preserved.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
