This is a spectacular trilobite fossil. It is a fabulous Dicranurus monstrosus from Morocco. This amazing specimen was painstakingly prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. Dicranurus is known worldwide for its unique, spider-like appearance - but many faked examples have flooded the market. However, this specimen is GENUINE AND FULLY REAL. This trilobite has its occipital ''Ram's Horns'' prepared fully free-standing, which makes for an impressive display. This trilobite was meticulously extracted from one solid block of rock - a killer bug showcased in the center of of a sculpted limestone base. This is one of the largest, most displayable Dicranurus trilobites we have ever seen. It is hard to imagine a more collectible example of a Dicranurus monstrosus from Morocco.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
