This is an extremely displayable Russian trilobite. It is a spectacular Hoplolichoides furcifer from St. Petersburg, Russia. This is one of the rarer and more sought-after types of trilobites from Russia, and it is a beauty! The bug is fully complete, wonderfully articulated, and perfectly outstretched. The Hoplolichoides has been prepared with the horns and body spines free-standing. The thick shell exoskeleton is covered with large pustules and tiny spines. And the huge hypostoma (mouthplate) is even fully exposed! The trilobite is beautifully showcased on the pinnacle of the sculpted limestone block. This specimen is simply as good as it gets. It is easily one of the most beautiful examples of this type we have seen.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
