This is a very rare and unusual Mammoth fossil. It is a large lower jaw from the Wooly Mammoth, Mammuthus primigenius. This specimen is from the same area that was featured in the Discovery Channel special, ''Raising the Mammoth''. This large jaw is complete with all teeth still embedded and even one condile preserved. The quality of the fossil bone is spectacular - it is extremely solid and will not disintegrate! But the most amazing feature of this jaw is the set of teeth. The teeth are fully complete and have beautiful enamel preserved. Also, the detail of the grinding surface is simply out of this world!. As an added bonus, this specimen comes with a sample of REAL Wooly Mammoth hair (''Wool'') at no extra charge! This is a very impressive and collectible Mammoth fossil that has left everyone who has seen it in awe.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
