This is a very rare vertebrate fossil. It is a Keichousaurus hui fossil from the Triassic of China. But this is not just any Keichousaur fossil - it is a mother and baby Keich fossilized together! The mother is very well preserved and exhibits fine detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all present. The limbs are well displayed and almost all of the tiny digits of the feet are still intact. But the real prize of this specimen is the baby Keich. This Keich is so young, many of the bones are not fully developed, especially in the hands and feet. The head is also disproportionately large, another feature proving this is a very young baby. And since it is preserved so close to the mother's pelvis, the baby may have just been born! This is a very important fossil showing an adult Keich with a baby that may have never even taken a breath before it was buried forever.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
